Okitipupa local government football council has suspended PEAK Football club of Okitipupa from all football related matters indefinitely.
It will be recalled that PEAK FC earlier today lost scandalously by 15 goals to one at the ongoing West Challenge Cup in Ore.
The Suspension letter sent to PEAK FC reads:
“Okitipupa local government football council writes to notify you of your suspension on the ground of match fixing”
“This is premised on your alleged connivance with All Stars FC Ore to be defeated by 15 goals to one at the ongoing West Challenge Cup in Odigbo local government”
“It is noteworthy that PEAk FC was never authorized by the Okitipupa FA to participate in the said tournament”.
“PEAK FC refused to pay its yearly affiliation fees to the council”.
“Our findings revealed that PEAK FC lost their first two matches by 1-0 and 3-0 to Pillar Boys and Opeyemi FA respectively”.
“PEAK FC never conceded 5goals in the any of the aforementioned matches”.
“Our Findings also revealed that All Stars FC needed 7goals to progress as group winners thereby conniving with you for a scandalous scoreline”.
“Equally,Our findings also revealed that PEAK FC was sponsored to the match venue by All Stars FC in order to perpetrate their Ignoble act”
“Your action today was not only antithetical to the spirit of football fairness but has brought Ignominy to Okitipupa local government football council”.
“Consequently,You have been suspended from all football related matters till further notice”.
