The Feeders Team of Ekiti United FC will tomorrow (Wednesday 25th January) resume for the 2022/23 football season.
Apostle as he’s popularly known said 25 Feeders players that were retained last season are expected back in the camp to justle for various positions as there would be an open trial for more capable legs to beef up the team
The TM noted that the EUfc Management has made an arrangement to expose the Feeders Team to competitive football through the NLO in the 2022/23 football season, hence the need to fortify the team in line with the vision of the Ekiti State governor, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO) to encourage youth development via sports.
He urged all interested players between 15 and 18 years of age who wish to join Ekiti United Feeders Team to come and showcase their skills for possible engagement.
Recall that one of the Feeders Team players who enjoyed playing time in the main team, Segun Ajengele was pivotal to the retention of the NNL status of Ekiti United FC towards the end of last season.
The Ekiti United Feeders under the tutlelage of Coach Mayowa Afolabi being assisted by Femi Kumuyi finished impressively as second runners up in the Ekiti Bet9ja Football League in 2022 and finished as runners up in another local Competition hosted at the Ekiti State University .
