Super Falcons of Nigeria early this morning played out a goaless with Olympic Champions Canada in group B second game.
Super Falcons who were without suspended Ajibade and Ayinde who were both red-carded last WAFCON in Morocco.
Led by the veteran Christine Sinclair,the Canadians had quiet first half thanks to defensive masterclasses by Nigerian Duo of Ohale and Demehin who kept Canada at the bay.
Ifeoma Onumonu who led Nigeria attack wasted Nigeria only chance in the first half.
Upon the resumption of the match,Francisca Ordega fouled Christine Sinclair in the box while Chiamaka Nnadozie saved the resulted penalty.
The trio of Alozie, Demehin and Ohale displayed high level of defensive masterclasses at Super Falcons’ defense.
