The organizers of 2023 West challenge cup have announced that this year’s edition would kickstart by March 10th 2023.
In a statement signed and released by local Organizing Committee Secretary Femi Oyerinde, the tournament is a twin one featuring U-14 and the Free Age.
The U-14 Segment is to be sponsored by Ade Abbey foundation while the Free Age to be sponsored by BEULAH BAPTIST HIGH SCHOOL ORE.
According to him, interested teams are to pay #15,000 for registration while Beulah Baptist high school and Muslim high School both in Ore have been approved as the designated centers.
Registrations for the two tournaments have started since February 5th and ends February 28th.
He said Further ” prospective participants for U-14 category will be screened on March 4th at the Beulah playing ground,Ore.
While disclosing the Packages for the winners, winners,First runner-up and Second runner-up at the U-14 Category go home with #50,000,#30,000 and #20,000 respectively.
The aforementioned trios are to be given 23 medals while finalists get newly purchased jerseys.
For the Free Age, the winners,First runner-up and Second runner-up will go home with #100,000,#70,000 and #50,000 respectively.
The free age finalists get jerseys as well and medals.#2,000 and #3,000 have been penciled down for winners of the following categories:
I Most Valuable player
II. Highest Goal Scorer.
III. Best Goalkeeper.
IV. Fair Play team
V. Best Coach.
VI. Best Referee.
