Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum has said the speed and power of his side will help them overcome England.

The Super Falcons and the Three Lionesses will clash in a Round of 16 encounter at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup on Monday.

England destroyed China 6-1 in their last group game to send warning to other teams at the competition.

Waldrum however argued that his side have the athleticism to trouble the European champions.

“The one difference between us and China is that they don’t have our speed and our strength,” the American told reporters.

“China were organised, but England were too powerful and played around them

“We will have to use our strengths to neutralise England.”

Monday’s encounter is slated for the Lang Park, Brisbane. Kick-off is 8.30am Nigerian time.
