The President of African Beach Soccer Union (ABSU) and Coordinator of Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) Mr. Mahmud Hadejia paid a courtesy visit yesterday to the President of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau in Abuja.
Mr Mahmud just returned to Nigeria from an official engagement with the global beach soccer body Beach Soccer Worldwide in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
He briefed the NFF President on the developments and progress made while in Dubai and how it impacts on Nigeria and the African continent.
In his response, the NFF President commended the efforts of the ABSU President in his continuous passion and commitment to develop and promote the sport in Africa.
He further acknowledged the tremendous progress made on the previous NBSL seasons and confirmed his comittment to see Beach Soccer grow to the next level under his administration.
Alhaji Gusau concluded by requesting that the ABSU President and his team to work closely together with the NFF so that the league can be bigger and better from next season including developing other aspects of the game in Nigeria.
