Nigeria’s Flying Eagles are third best football playing nation as the country’s representative bashed the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia by four goals to nil in the Loser’s game played at the prestigious Cairo International Stadium in Egypt.

The seven times African champions started the game like house on fire and wasted no time in netting the first goal before the half hour mark through Ibrahim Mohammed.

On resumption of hostilities in the second half, the Flying Eagles went haywire and rained two more goals on the under strength Tunisian side.

Two quick goals in the second half from Ahmad Abdullahi and Jude Sunday put the Flying Eagles on the mark till the end of the match.

Jude Sunday completed his brace towards the end of the match as the lads signed off from the competition with a resound victory.

The Nigerian side dominated the game from start to finish and would have gone more goals ahead but missed countless opportunities in the final third.

With this expected result, the Flying Eagles have so far completed their assignment in Egypt with a podium finish.

Up next is the forthcoming junior world cup in a few months to come.
