Ghana survived the Sudanese scare to defeat the latter 3-1 in the on-going Africa Nations Championship on Thursday in Algeria.
Sudan drew the first blood in the 31st minute through Nooh Al-Gozoli before the Ghanaians that was reduced to 10 players levelled up through Konadu Yiadom during the added time in the first segment.
And barely 20 minutes into the second stanza, Daniel Afriyle shot Ghana up to lead the scorelines.
He was however givei the marching order just two minutes (in the added time) to end the encounter.Seidu Suraj did not fluff the opened opportunity, as he shook the Sudanese net at the nick of time for the 10-man Ghanaians to walk tall out of the arena.
