All Nigerian Players Football Union Ondo state chapter has appreciated Ondo Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and his Deputy Lucky Aiyedatiwa for Enthroning three of its members as Monarchs.
This was contained in a statement personally signed in Akure by its chairman Comrade Kayode Julius.
” We the ex-fooballers thank his Excellency Governor of Ondo state Arakurin Rotimi Akeredolu and Our Grand patron who doubles as his Deputy Lucky Aiyedatiwa for remembering us”
“One of our BOT members Prince Adeleye Peter will be enthroned as Monarch of Aaye Kingdom in Ifedore local government area of Ondo state by Monday”
“Arakurin has also honoured us by enthroning Agbebi Samuel Olugbenga an Ex- goalkeeper as Olu of Emure”
” Chief Adefayeun popularly known as Ade basket has been enthroned as Olu of Ifedore”
” We express our gratitude to the Governor and government of Ondo state for finding us worthy to be recognized and Appreciated”
” Many of us represented the state and nation well and also rendered selfless services to the state and nation”
Comrade Kayode Julius concluded by appealing to the Government to vote more fund to sports as it has the ability to rescue people from Poverty especially the teeming unemployed youths.
