All Nigerian Players Football Union Ondo state chapter has appreciated the Ondo state Commissioner for Sports Dele Ologun for Appointing Rafiu Yusuf as Special Adviser on Sports matters.
In a statement signed by its chairman Kayode Julius in Akure,he described the appointment as well-deserved.”

He however advised football stakeholders in the state to get rid of politics in Football matters people who are passionate about the game should be allowed to hold sway.
Rafiu Yusuf during his heydays played for Kwara United,NEPA FC, Sunshine Stars and also had a stint in Thailand.
He is currently the vice-chairman Akure south football council.
The appointment has taken immediate effect.
