The second edition of the Dreams Basketball tournament for the male and female categories organised by the “Just Help Africa” in collaboration with the Oyo State Sports Council, Ibadan will hold on Thursday 26 and Friday 27, 2023 at the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan.
The Chairman of the Oyo State Sports Council, Honourable Gbenga Adewusi dropped this hint today.
According to the convener of the tournament, MR, Tunji Soroye disclosed that the first edition of the competition in 2021, stressing that the motive behind the tournament is to nurture the talents and develop the skills and profiliency of the players with a view to prepare them for National and International Competitions.
He stated further that Six male team and two female team will participate in the two(2) days competition.
The chief Executive officer of the Just Help Africa stated further that available prizes for the Winners in male categories are 350,000 naira and a trophy.
for the first position, One hundred and fifty thousand naira for the second position and Two Hundred thousand naira for the first position for the female category.
The convener of the tournament said the competition which is restricted to Oyo State players will be made open to all the South-Western states subsequently.
