Arsenal Kiddies football Academy, this evening defeated hard fighting New Era boys 1-0 to lift the 8th edition of Dr. Iyere Ernest Ahamioje U13 Talent Hunt Championship.
The match which was watched by a capacity crowd at A-DIVISION field saw the homers dictating the rhythm of the game from the blast of the whitsle.
After exchange of telegraphic passes, the New Era boys couldn’t withstand the pressure with a poor clearance that saw the ball going into their net resulting in an own goal.
This goal stimulated the New Era boys to change tactics but every effort to equalize was effectively neutralized by the Arsenal Kiddies boys.
In his closing remarks, the sponsor of the tournament, Dr . Iyere Ernest Ahamioje, praised the boys for good display of soccer artistry and promised to sustain the tournament.
