A fourth defeat to the Kwara Falcons dashed the Nigerian representative’s hopes of qualifying for the next round from the Sahara Conference group stage.
Kwara Falcons BAL hopes are in tatters following 4th defeat to AS Douanes Basketball Club of Nigeria Republic.
The reigning Nigerian Premier Basketball League champions Kwara Falcons suffered an 68- 75 to their neighbour in a 2023 Basketball Africa League (BAL) played on over the weekend.
The Nigerian team lost their BAL opening group game 64-48 to the Rwanda Energy Group at the weekend.
It was followed by a 74-78 loss to Stade Malien in their second group game and a defeat to reigning BAL champions US Monastir 85-75.
The Kwara Falcons put up impressive performances all through the group matches but not enough to see them through.
