Two second half goals from Akinyomi Bolu and Luyi Ilemobayo gave Sarajoe FC of Ilutitun 2-0 victory over Agbo boys of Igbokoda this evening at Okitipupa Government field.

It would be recalled that Sarajoe FC represented okitipupa local government at the last state league held eleven years ago where they finished third.

The first half could not record a goal as both teams were meticulous not to concede goals.

Seven minutes after he was brought on, Akinyomi Boluwaji volleyed in a bullet shot to put Sarajoe ahead.

Buoyed by that lead, sarajoe kept applying pressure on Agbo boys which however paid off when Luyi Ilemobayo scored his third goal of the tournament when chested the ball and latched in the ball to double Sarajoe’s advantage.

The blast of the final whistle by the referee threw enthusiastic Ilutitun football supporters into a wild jubilations.

Sarajoe FC of Ilutitun and Seeway FC of Ayeka would represent Ondo South in Akure in Continuation of the State league.

They would participate in the Super 8 with other zonal representatives.
