The much-awaited third edition of Bamidele Omosehin football tournament kickstarted this evening at the Okitipupa Govt field.
The action-packed match saw Sarajoe FC thumping their Okitipupa counterpart 3-1.
Having won a ticket to the state league Super 8 in Akure last month, Sarajoe FC continued the electrifying form with an opening win in this year’s BOF tournament.
Sarajoe’s Captain Otungbe Tunde put his team ahead inside the first ten minutes after mesmerizing Taye FC’s defence.

The deadly duo of Luyi Ilemobayo and Akin combined again as Akin put Ilemobayo through to double Sarajoe’s advantage.
The first half ended as Taye heaped pressure on Sarajoe’s defence in order to find a lifeline but it was proved abortive by resolute Sarajoe’s defence led by Ayenogun Omoleye.
Super sub Akinyomi Boluwaji came on and scored a superb goal.
The wonder Goal that left Taye’s Goalie stranded and everyone at Okitipupa Government field dumbfounded.
Goke scored a late consolation for Taye FC to reduce the deficit.
