The football clinic and draws for the third edition of Bamidele Omosehin football tournament have been held.
A well-attended event at Methodist high school Okitipupa had representatives of the registered teams and stakeholders across the six local governments in Ondo South senatorial district.

The football clinic’s resource persons Mr Raji Kamarudeen and Goke Akinbi lectured the coaches on several football rules which include offside rule, players’ conduct and latest changes in the rules.
They harped on the need for the Coaches to be disciplined and comport their supporters.
Earlier,the local LOC chairman Bukunmi Akinubi charged the participating teams to be well behaved.

He said Further that the donor is interested in football development and scouting of talented footballers in the zone.
The moderator of the event who also doubles as a member of local organizing Committee Ola Adebusoye intimated the coaches on the packages that come with the third edition.
He said the donor in his magnanimity has approved some amount to be given to teams coming from far distance as stipends to ease the burden of transportating.
He said Further that none of the tournament rules would be circumvented that any team that fail to honour its match(es) shall be expelled and subsequently banned for three years.
He rounded off the event by saying that third edition comes with mouthwatering awards and prizes for deserving teams and individuals.
The tournament which has been extended to the six local governments in Ondo south senatorial district has three playing centers Viz: Okitipupa Government field,Oyenusi Grammar school Irele playing ground and Ore township stadium.
The draws see Sarajoe FC,Taye FC, Gbenvico FC, Segatech FC and Abodi-Ikale FC being drawn in group A while the Quartet of Iju-odo FC,Jatuase FC, MFM and KFC are in group B.
