Victor Boniface has continued to enhance his growing reputation in Europe after he scored twice for Union St.Gilloise to draw 3-3 at Bundesliga club Union Berlin in the UEFA Europa League tonight.
The former Flying Eagles striker opened scoring for his Belgian club after 28 minutes of this Europa League Round of 16 first leg.
He also scored his team’s third goal in the 72nd minute before the home team salvaged a thrilling draw with a minute to spare.
The return leg of this Round of 16 match is fixed for March 16 with the overall winners advancing to the quarterfinal.
The 22-year-old striker has also fired seven goals in the Belgian league this season.
