Victor Boniface scored another brace today for Bayer Leverkusen to shoot to the top of the Bundesliga on the back of a 5-1 thrashing of Darmstadt.
Boniface, whose hot form is widely expected to be rewarded with a Super Eagles call-up in the new week, opened scoring in the 21st minute with a brilliant individual goal
He then completed his brace in the 61st minute for Bayer 04 to lead 3-1.
He also assisted for his team’s fourth goal in the 67th minute.
He has now netted four goals in his debut season in the Bundesliga following his arrival this summer from Belgian club Union St.Gilloise.
Leverkusen now have nine points from their first three games of the new season in Germany.
