Nigerian music superstar, Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu known professionally as Burna Boy, will be performing live at the 2022-23 UEFA Champions League final in Istanbul, Turkey.
The Award-winning and multi-platinum selling singer, songwriter and producer will co-headline the 2023 UEFA Champions League Final Kick off show by Pepsi on 10 June at Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul.
“As a huge football fan myself, I know it doesn’t get any bigger than the UEFA Champions League!
That’s why I’m so excited to be performing on the Pepsi stage at this year’s final.“Music and football are the ultimate combination, so you already know I’ll be bringing the vibes and making magic in Istanbul. The world isn’t ready for what we have in store!” Burna Boy said.
The Port Hacourt born talented singer was among the trio of Nigerian musical stars that performed an Afrobeats-themed halftime show at the 2023 NBA All-Star game in Salt Lake City, Utah on February 19.
Formerly known as the UEFA Champions League Opening Ceremony, the UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show by Pepsi – unites music, sport and culture through a show-stopping performance. This year’s other co-headlining act that will perform alongside Burna Boy will be announced soon.
