As Nigerians eagerly wait for the release of the final list of players who will be making the trip to Egypt for the U-20 AFCON championship next month, the camp of the Flying Eagles is proportionately calm and relaxed ahead of the anticipated announcement.

Head Coach, Isah Ladan Bosso has ensured every perceived tension is doused and all the players in camp are united and willing to support each other regardless of whatever the outcome of the final list will be.

paimedia.com.ng can authoritatively confirm that some of the players who spoke on the condition of anonimity said the atmosphere under Bosso and the entire coaching crew has given them reasons to continue to strive for shared purpose and intent.

One of the foreign based players stated categorically that Bosso treats everyone as equal and that makes his time in camp a special one for him.

Another one said he’s a serious and a passion driven coach, stressing that he demonstrated fatherly love and never showed disparity in the discharge of his duty.

The players said they’re not nervous, neither are they under pressure to make Bosso’s final cut, what’s important to most of them is team spirit and cohesion, affirming their willingness to pledge their unalloyed support to the team whether they’re considered to be part of the retinue or not.

They further stressed that the yearnings of Nigerians remains utmost, as the aspirations is to make the country proud and secure a slot for the world cup, noting that the bigger picture should come first before any personal dream or ambition of being selected.

The final list is expected to be out before the double header friendly international against Zambia which has now been rescheduled to play on the 3rd and 6th of February respectively at the Moshood Abiola national stadium Abuja.
