Manchester United midfielder Casemiro will miss his side’s next three games after his sending off against Crystal Palace.
The 30-year-old was given his marching orders by Andre Marriner in the 70th minute after wrapping his hands around Will Hughes’ neck.
Marriner consulted VAR who subsequently told Marriner to watch the incident back on the pitchside monitor.
The former Real Madrid midfielder will now serve a three-match ban, which will see him miss both games against Leeds home and away, as well as their home clash against Leicester City.
