Despite losing 3-2 at home to FC Robo Queens of Lagos, Ibom Angels gave all their best as a team full of potentials and can stand the test of time before the end of the ongoing NWFLPremiership season.

Adekemi Akintan , who now has two goals in four matches reduced the deficit for the Angels in added time of the first stanza.

Imoh Jones made it two for Ibom Angels 3 minutes after the restart through a corner kick which was poorly handled by the visiting goalkeeper, Mercy Olodu; Imoh Jones benefited to lob it into the back of the net for the home team’s 2nd and final goal in the match.

Ibom Angels gaffer, Usen Ebuk, apologized to the fans for the result, adding that the team will live up to expectations in subsequent games.

The coach of FC Robo Queens, Emmanuel Osahon, gave Kudos to Ibom Angels for having that fighting spirit to hold his side to a stand still after leading in the first half by a 3 goal margin.
