EASTER: TOKI PREACHES PEACE, FAITH IN GOD

Osun State Referees’ Council Chairman, Hon. Fatai Kolapo Toki has called on referees and football stakeholders to take advantage of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, to advance unity, development and peaceful coexistence for all citizens.

The Chairman made this public in his Easter message, congratulating Christians in Osun State Referees’ Council (OSRC), Nigeria Referees’ Association (NRA), Osun State Football Association (OSUN F.A), Football Coaches Association (FCA), Grassroot Football Coaches Council (GFCC), Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) and all football present as well as ex players within and outside Osun State for the successful forty-day long Lenten season in penance for the atonement of sins and salvation of mankind, which Easter portends.

Toki, who maintained that Easter is the hallmark of Christianity, stressed that the celebration of Christ’s resurrection and salvation, offers whistling family and other football stakeholders greater opportunity to come closer to God and promote all virtues that would enhance peace, love, unity, development and progress of round leather game in Osun State.

While wishing the people of OSRC, NRA, FA, FCA, GFCC, SWAN and indeed, the people’s Governor H.E. Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke who within 100days in office turn around the interest of the people who has been upside down to live.

The newly elected Chairman of Osun State Referees’ Council urged them to reflect soberly and intensify prayers for God’s intervention and abiding grace, for football and sports at large to wax stronger.

The Chairman reiterated his resolve to continue to serve OSRC with the fear of God, and to work assiduously towards the advancement of peace, unity and development of Osun State Referees’ Council, for the wellbeing of her members.
