After Goodwill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State Government is set to commission another stadium in Eket to increase the level of sporting infrastructures in the state.
According to the update from the state, the Governor of the state Udom Emmanuel will on Friday commission the newly built stadium in Eket.
The stadium is 18,000 capacity with a well-laid turf.
Former Nigeria Professional Football League champions Akwa United will confront Katsina United in a friendly match to inaugurate the stadium.
