The Ekiti State Football Association has picked 27th April, 2023 for its Elective Congress. This was one of the many resolutions taken by the Congress of the Association on Tuesday 18th, 2023 when the body held its Extra Ordinary General Assembly. The State Football Association went on to approve the appointment of Electoral and Appeals Committees which is as follows:
Electoral Committee
i. Barr. Femi Familusi – Chairman
ii. Barr. Lekan Daramola – Vice Chairman
iii. Mrs. Orolu – member
iv. Elder Remilekun Solola – member
v. Ayodeji Okunuga – member
Pelumi Abiara – Secretary
Appeals Committee
i. Barr. Steve Alabi JP
ii. High Chief Olufemi Durojaiye
iii. Hon. Chief Mrs. Jumoke Olaniyan
Mrs. Olawunmi Alabede as Secretary
Other decisions taken at the EGA includes the lifting of suspension on erring members as well as an unanimous decision to support strategic steps towards the involvement of Ekiti women in football activities.
