The newly elected executives of Ekiti Referee Council held it Inaugural meeting on Saturday.
The meeting which was well-attended by all the newly elected officers had the below Communique.
COMMUNIQUE OF FIRST EXECUTIVE MEETING OF EKITI STATE FOOTBALL REFEREES COUNCIL HELD ON SATURDAY, 1/4/2023 AT OLUYEMI KAYODE STADIUM ADO EKITI.
The Executive of the Ekiti state (Football) Referees Council had its inaugural meeting on Saturday, 1st April, 2023 at Oluyemi kayode Stadium, Ado Ekiti, to deliberate on developmental issues in the referees council and resolved as follows:
1) The Ekiti State (football) referees council appreciated the Governor of Ekiti State, His Excellency, Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for the sportsmanship supports by allowing the smooth running of football in the State and her local government areas.
- The members show appreciation to God Almighty and Executive of the Council for opportunity to serve.
- Council is ready to align with position of South West Zone of Referees Association and will not shy away from demanding for a National executive post in coming National election. In view of this, members of the Council should show interest in National post.
- Referees Academy which will be instrument to recruit members from all nooks and crannies of Ekiti State will take off soon.
- Immediate past executive led by Chief A. Y. O Ariyo should carry out HANDING OVER process as soon as possible.
- All arrangements has been concluded on the choice of official training kits for all members of the council.
- Discipline and decorum will be the order of the day during this dispensation.
