The newly elected members of Ekiti State Referees Council executive paid courtesy visit to F A Ekiti State Chairman Mr Bayo Olanlege and Secretary, Mr Pelumi Abiara today.
Introducing members of executive to the host, General Secretary of the Council, Mr Adegoke Olusola, appreciate the F A Chairman and Secretary for hosting them and support for Referee unit of football ecosystem in Ekiti State.
The Chairman, Mr Adesina Oguntuase expressed happiness for the occasion to happen. He promised that Referees in Ekiti State are ready to discharge their duties professionally.
Mr Bayo Olanlege, Ekiti F A Chairman welcome the members of the Council executive and commend them for the visit. He implored them to;
Be fair in their actions and promote welfare of the Council.
Improve on RIT recruitment project to increase numerical strength of the Council
Make sure that all association football matches are handled by referees. Task force may be set up to ensure this.
Encourage F A and LFCs to stage competitions by being reasonable on match indemnities.
Ensure that members of F A Referees Committee are active and financially committed members of the Council.
He rounded up that they should not lose focus on achieving their goal.
He also added that he looks forward to end his tenure on best note with Referees Council cooperation which he expected to be extended to incoming F A Ekiti State board.
