Former Enyimba International forward Chijioke Akuneto is set to join the arrays of Nigeria stars plying their trade in the South African Premier League.
netted 19 goals as Rivers United won the 2021/22 NPFL title for the first time, before he joined Enyimba International in a short transfer move.
According to the update from South Africa, Akuneto is presently undergoing trials with Sekukhune United ahead of the upcoming 2023/24 South Africa premier League Season.
The player took part in some friendly games with the club and all is set for the player to sign a deal with the club.
