Friendly: Flying Eagles Share Spoils with Colombia in a Six-goal thriller

Flying Eagles of Nigeria continued preparations for forthcoming U-20 World Cup to be staged in Argentina with a 3-3 draw with Colombia.

Abel Ogwuche’s own goal gave the South American the lead in the twentieth minutes while Cortes converted a spotkick to double the lead nine minutes later.

The West African side responded via Jude Sunday in the fortieth minutes.

Asprila restored the two-goal cushion for the South American after the break.

Mohammed Ibeji and Emmanuel Umeh ensured the tie ends in a draw with two second half goals.

Flying Eagles will face Dominican republic on Sunday 21st May in their group opener.
