Friendly match: Flying Eagles Thrash Paul E Sports Academy 5-0

The Flying Eagles today got off to a fine start with a 5-0 spanking on Paul E Sports Academy in a first friendly since they resumed training camp this week.

The U-20s, who are preparing for next year’s U20 AFCON in Egypt, dominated this test game and were hardly troubled by their opponents.

Energetic winger Emmanuel Justine put Flying Eagles upfront in the 10th minutes, before Ekpenyong Emmanuel doubled the advantage at 37th minutes.

36 Lion winger Ifesinachi had his first in the 65th minute, however, when he got a pass from Adam before cutting inside and squeezing a shot through the gloves of the goalkeeper.

Ifesinachi was on song again. He latched on to a cross field pass and struck to the bottom corner in the 71st minutes, after connecting from Abdulrahamn Adam assist.

Super sub Gbadamosi Umar, increased the goal margin to make it 5-0 with 10 minutes left before regulation time.
