Royal Eagles of Okitipupa defeated Young Stars by two goals to nil in a friendly match to herald the maiden edition of Maridman entertainment U-15 football tournament.
Royal Eagles started brightly but were unable to break the deadlock as Young shall defended vehemently.
However,Iyanu Oguneso’ s first half left-footed free-kick evaded everyone including the goalkeeper and landed in the net.All efforts by Young Stars to restore parity were proved abortive by resolute Royal Eagles defenders.
Second-half substitute Ikujuni Timilehin sealed the match for Royal Eagles with another well-taken free-kick late on.
The CEO Maridman entertainment Mr Ikujuni Oluwasegun expressed his delight with the superlative displays by the boys
” I believe if these boys are well-groomed,the future is secured for us”
Maridman entertainment U-15 football tournament is expected to kickstart in Fortnight time.
