The Okitipupa local Football council has meted an heavy sanctions on Sarajoe FC, Ilutitun for molesting Mr Ogunmola Samson who officiated the Semi-final Match between Sarajoe FC, Ilutitun and Benzolo FC, Iju Odo on the 20th of December 2022.
The FA’s Letter being sent to Sarajoe FC reads:
Sequel to the Semi-final Match played against Benzolo FC on the 20th of December 2022 at the ongoing Bamidele Omosehin football tournament in which some of your Players and officials molested the centre referee, the following punitive actions have been taken against you:
√ The duo of Seun Onukun and Akinjeji Deji who orchestrated the shameful act have been suspended for football related activities for the next five years.
√ Coach Sola who incited his players against the officials throughout the said match is fined #5,000
√ Sarajoe FC is fined #10,000 for failing to comport their players and officials.
√ Luyi Ilemobayo is warned to guard his utterances against future punitive actions.
√ A letter of Apology and undertaking of good conduct must be written to the FA within the next 24hours.
Consequently, A copy of this letter will been sent to Ondo State FA and NFF for documentation.
