Respected Sports Physician and Board member of the Ondo State football association, Dr. Babatunde Akinbinu believes football is and should be a business entity.
Dr. ‘Tunde Akinbinu popularly known as Doctor Tee stated that nobody should under-rate his capacity as a doctor and also as a sports administrator.
“I have been around for a while and I am interested in during the best for my people before I exit the stage”.
The man who is still handling the stethoscope along with football management is not a novice to the game of football.
He has been previously been a member of NFF committee for several years.
The soft spoken Akinbinu said he is ready to develop his community football ecosystem.
“We intend to participate in National League to give the young people the opportunity to develop their skills: not just football players but also young, budding match officials right from their teenage years” Akinbami said.
He stated further that he is aggressively seeking spot for a league for his football political constituency after a team from One City, Zion Warriors football club of Ondo recently won the Ondo State football league.
“We have people that can fund the club and create business opportunity within ecosystem. What we need to do is to create the enabling environment of trust, vision and measurable targets towards a defined goal”. Apexmedia
