The fourth Edition of Ilutitun mini-Marathon has been boosted as Eddie Apartment and Lounge accepted the Sponsorship of the event.
In a chat with Sportgister Nigeria,the CEO of the company Mr Bayo lkubuwaje said the rationale behind the sponsorship is to give back to the community.
“My late dad Mr Edward Oladipo Ikubuwaje popularly known as EDDIE. He was the Chairman of EDDIE HOTELS LTD. Eddie hotel happens to be the first hotel in ikale division”Late Mr Edwards Ikubuwaje
“He hailed from Egure oloja quarters ilutitun Osooro. He was born in 1940 and died in 1993.
As part of event to mark his 30th year remembrance, a foundation has been registered in his memory EDDIE MEMORIAL FOUNDATION (EMF)”
“Sponsorship of the 2022 uluuton mini marathon is one of the few responsibilities the foundation is saddled with. ( youth, women empowerment and health related programmes amongst others”
“We are in talk with TVC for coverage of the marathon”.
The 2022 Ilutitun mini-Marathon comes up December 31st.
