The 3rd edition of Ilutitun Primary Schools football tournament’s local organizing committee has set Friday 4th, for draws and Monday, November 7, 2022, for the competition’s opening ceremony.
According to a media release, signed by the Media Officer of the Competition Sedara Oluwadara, the LOC has resolved and approved the draws and opening ceremony dates. Part of the statement reads:
“As we promised last week to set a new date for the draws and opening ceremony, the LOC has approved the 4th November and 7th November 2022 for the Draws and Opening Ceremonies respectively.
It wasn’t our plan to reschedule these events but it became necessary because of our commitment to deliver a good tournament.
” We have put all modalities in place and are expecting a tournament that supersede the previous ones that had been held. All the Schools are ready and the organizers too are ready.”
The tournament is Sponsored by Prince (Dr) David Tade Olowogboye – (HIGH CHIEF SEJA)ON BEHALF OF MERCURI GROUP OF SCHOOLSBoth the draws and opening match will be held at L.A Primary School, Ilutitun-Osooro.
Sedara added that attendance at the Draws Ceremony requires an invitation alone. Team representatives and other invited visitors must be seated by 2pm, while special guests must do so by 2:30pm
