Few weeks after retaining the Kogi State Federation Cup, Captain of Kogi United Fc Tunde Oladapo has officially presented the trophy to Chairman of the Club Honourable Abdulmalik Isah Dolly in his office at the glass house Government house Lokoja.
In a brief ceremony on Thursday 6th April, Captain Tunde Oladapo in company of senior players of the team formally hands over the trophy to the Club’s helmsman Honourable Abdulmalik Isah Dolly.
Tunde Oladapo said the ritual of presenting the trophy to the Chairman became imperative so as to show appreciation for all the efforts he has been putting in place to ensure that what the teams needs to execute it’s matches comes in record time.
The Chairman thanked the players for their show of determination, doggedness and resilience to ensure they retain the trophy won last year that saw them represent the State and also beat some big notable clubs along the line before the National Federation Cup was stopped abruptly.
He charged the players to ensure that they perform better and creditably in the Ongoing 2022/2023 Nigeria National League which got underway three weeks ago saying the management under his supervision will continue to ensure that the team lacks nothing.
Present at the glass house office off the chairman to witness the presentation are Mallam Tijani Ibrahim,team Manager of the Club, and players of the Club.
