Ahead of the 2023 Election Of Kogi State Football Association,the Association on Friday 5th May 2023 inaugurated it’s Electoral Committee to oversee the conduct of the election Slated for 27th May 2023.
The Chairman of Kogi State Football Association Alhaji Umarr Isah Suleiman who welcomed dignitaries present promised to make sure that the 2023 Kogi State Football Association Elections is Free, Fair and Credible devoid of any hitch.
He said it has become imperative and Mandatory for the elections to be conducted the tenure of the present administration under his leadership is gradually winding down.
He thanked his executives, board Members and relevant football stakeholders in the State for supporting his administration which has seen a cordial working relationship with the football fraternity in the State.
After his Welcome address, the Committee saddled with the responsibility of conducting the election were formally inaugurated.
After the inauguration, chairman of the electoral committee, Barrister Muazu Abbas thanked the leadership of the association for finding them worthy of such a huge task and promised that himself and his committee will work round the clock to ensure a smooth election.
The Chairman of the Election appeal Committee Barrister Atoto also appreciated the Leadership of the State football association for appointing him to chair the Committee and promised not to let them down.
Mr Henry Ameh, a board Member of the Kogi State Football Association in his vote of thanks, appreciated and thanked the Kogi State Football Family for their immense support to the Association especially the Outgoing board. He said just as it is in every democratic settings, the setting up of the Electoral Committee became imperative so as to ensure a smooth transition.
With the inauguration of the Electoral Committee, the stage is now set for the conduct of the 2023 Election into various positions of the Kogi State Football Association.
