Kwara United on Wednesday recorded a 2-1 victory over El Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri in the rescheduled match day of the NPFL to move out of the relegation zone.
The Harmony boys went into the game with their shoulders full of burdens as they occupied 9th position on the table of the 10-team Group A of the NPFL abridged-league
While Nnaji David put the hosts to the lead with his goal in the 20th minute, Jide Fatokun levelled for the Coach Kabiru Dogo’s side in the 61st minutes of the game.
However, Kwara United would have to thank their new boy, Godwin Oshagbemi for netting the winner in the encounter in the 72nd minute.
The victory has subsequently pushed the team up to 8th position on the log with just Nine points from 9 games.
