The Electoral Committee of the Lagos Football Association today completed the screening of candidates for the Divisional elections.
For the screening which started yesterday May 8, 2023 at the Lagos FA Secretariat, 149, Ogunlana Drive, Surulere, the Electoral Committee at the Ikorodu Division, screened two candidates for Chairmanship,
Two for board membership, and one reserved seat for women.
For the Lagos Division, two Chairmanship candidates, one candidate for board membership and one candidate reserved for women were screened.
At the Badagry Division, two candidates for Chairmanship, two for board membership and
one candidate for women position were
screened by the committee.
While for the Ikeja Division, the Electoral Committee screened one candidate for Chairmanship, and two for board membership, while for the Epe Division, two candidates for Chairmanship, one for one boardmember and one reserved for women, were screened by the Electoral Committee.
The Chairman, Electoral Committee, Alhaji Tijani Azeez, said Tuesday afternoon at the Lagos FA secretariat, that, decisions of the screening of candidates will be made public tomorrow, Wednesday May 10, 2023.
He added that, for the Lagos State Football Association elections, two candidates will be screened for Chairmanship position, two for vice Chairmanship position, 14 for board membership, and two reserved for women, will be screened. The screening exercise will hold on May 15, starting from 9am at the Lagos FA Secretariat on 149, Ogunlana Drive, Surulere.
