Super Eagles forward Terem Moffi scored his third league goal in the colors of OGC Nice as he had a hand on all two goals in their 2-2 draw away at Nantes who had Moses Simon from the start.

The 23-year-old has dropped down the pecking order in the top scorers chart and needed to close the gap on Ligue 1 top scorer Kylian Mbappe who currently has 19 goals.

It however took Moffi just five minutes to put his side ahead as he headed home from a Ross Barkley corner after he was left unmarked to make it 1-0.

The host soon found the equalizer on the half-hour mark when Moussa Sissoko made it 1-1 before captain Ludovic Blas hit the woodwork from 12 yards after Nantes was awarded a penalty.

The second half was evenly matched with both coaches testing their bench strength after the hour mark with Moses Simon making way for the host with the visitors sending on Aeron Ramsey.

They did not wait too long to retake their lead as Moffi showed good attributes to set up Youssouf Ndayishimaye to make it 2-1 as the Burundian scored his first league goal for the club.

With victory almost certain for OGC Nice, the host fought back to steal a point as Egyptian forward Mostafa Mohammed sealed a point two minutes from time to end an entertaining encounter.

Moffi finished with a rating of 8.0, completing 3 of his 5 take-ons and also made 3 key passes whilst completing 81% of his passes.
