Lionel Messi Named 2022 World Cup best player As Mbappe Wins Golden Boot


Argentina captain Lionel Messi has won the 2022 World Cup Golden Ball award after captaining his side to their first World Cup victory since 1986.

The 35-year-old scored seven goals with three assists at the tournament, including a brace in the final, as he picks up the player of the tournament award for the second time in his career, after winning it also in 2014.
