After edging out a determined side, Bendel Insurance Feeders in round 16 of the Federation Cup in Owerri to book a ticket in the quarter-finals, Lobi Stars is now set to face the Nigeria National League side, Warri Wolves tomorrow at Otunba Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State.

Head Coach of Lobi Stars, Mohammed Baba Ganaru and his men have shown that they have kept to their philosophy which they have benefited from and won’t ignore against the lower division side come tomorrow, by approaching the game like a cup final with the needed zeal aiming at the semi-final ticket.

For the Stars to halt the ambition of the Wolves from progressing to the next round, they must hover over every nook and cranny of the pitch tomorrow..

The former Federation Cup Champions are a force to be reckoned with in this competition. With their 1-3 win over young Benin Gunners to book a place in the quarter-finals, it further proves that, the team has good depth.

Stars’ gaffer, Baba Ganaru won’t hesitate to call his pacy winger, Joseph Atule into action to continue his fine form.

Atule scored a brace against the Benin Feeders to halt their dreams and would be available along with Suur Kumaga who restored parity for his side with his lone strike. The defence marshal, Moses Tsehuan as well as utility player Kalu Orji are capable of putting heads together to sail the NPFL giant into the semi-finals come tomorrow.

The head coach of the lower division, Jolomi Atune whose side is placed third in group B1 of the NNL table is boastful of confidence after edging out NPFL giant Gombe United 1-0 to reach this stage.

The Wolves tactician will call on Shederack Okere, Micheal Enaruna, and Christian Izuchukwu to bring out their best against the Makurdi-based side to progress to the semi-finals.

The Stars are focused and will not lose sight to secure the needed result after the final whistle.
