Former African Woman Footballer of the Year, Mercy Akide-Udoh has revealed her dream to be the head coach of the Super Falcons in the nearest future.
Speaking with Brila FM, Akide-Udoh revealed that the Super Falcons job is an ambition she is hopeful of fulfilling, but will only consider if the terms are right.
“I will, that is one of my dreams,” the Nigerian football Legend replied when asked about the National team coaching role.
“It is one of the things on my bucket list, If I have the opportunity and I am being called, I will serve my nation with all my mind.”
When she was quizzed if she had ever applied for the job she said that, “I did not do it because I already know that they are going to give it to a foreigner.
“When Pinnick (Amaju) was there, I had a conversation with him. So I do not want to waste my time, anything that is going to waste my time, I am not going to do that.”
