The Maiden Nasarawa State U-13 Inter-Primary School Boys’ Football Championship kicks-off today.
Lafia Local Government Area will hosts Keana Local Government Area at the Sports Complex of Federal University of Lafia, Makurdi Road, by 4pm today, Monday 22nd May, 2023.
According to the organising committee before the main fixture of the day, there will be a Veteran Exhibition Match, between Ex-U13 players and those who have played the round leather game right from the formative years to professional and semi-professional levels by 3pm at the same venue.
Players like Danmusa Mohammed, Baba-Luti, Hon. Mohammed Dikko, Stephen Moga , Vincent Christopher, Abbah General, Eche Amos, Audu Omo-Lagos, Ibrahim Abega Abdullahi, T.Y. Doma, Ubah Jagundu, etc, will be in action today to create a career pathway for the young players.
Dignitaries from across Nasarawa State and beyond are expected to converge at the event venue, to catch a glimpse of the exhilarating settings, including His Excellency, Engr Abdullahi A Sule, Executive Governor of Nasarawa State.
The Championship is powered by the Aliyu Bello Charity Foundation in collaboration with the Nasarawa State Government.
