The Management of Nasarawa United has announced the resumption date for players of the Club ahead of next season’s Nigeria National Football League, NNL.
The announcement follows a Management meeting held on Tuesday in Lafia, where it resolved that, players and coaches of the Club are to resume on Sunday, July 16th, 2023, while full training programmes commence on Monday, July 17th, 2023.
According to the reports released by the team management, the Management said only players who are retained with the team will resume for preparations for next season’s league activities.
The Solid Miners were relegated to the Nigeria National League after losing 1-0 to Kwara United in Akure on matchday 17 of the 2022/23 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) abridged league.
The defeat ended the Lafia club’s 10-year stay in the Nigerian top flight.
