Ijebu United got their third win of the season after their win over struggling Smart City in the Nigeria National League in Ogun State on Saturday.
The Stallions came from behind to win by two goals to one at the Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium in the league group B2 encounter.
A barren first half had been ended in the 60th minute when the visiting team took the lead.
Otubu Oluwatobi scored two minutes later to get the host back into the game to set the tune for a comeback.
Ihemekwele Ifeanyi Stepped up in the 75th to score from the spot after a foul in the box 18, a goal that eventually settled scores at full time.
The win takes Ijebu United to third after eight games with same point as first place, Sporting Lagos and second place, Crown FC.
