The much-awaited 2023 season of the Nigeria Professional Football League has been postponed again.
The league under the new management called Interim Management Committee headed by Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye has proposed January 8th, 2023 as the kickoff date.
The Committee and the Club Owners met with the Nigeria Football Federation ( NFF) with its president Ibrahim Gusau in attendance on Thursday and after the discussions and deliberations, the league was moved by a week.
But the game involving former champions Akwa United and Bendel Insurance will go on this weekend and will be live on television.
