NPFL: Abia Warriors Comfortably beat Bayelsa United to Maintain 100% record


It was a sweet return home for Abia Warrior as they secured an emphatic 3-1 win over the visiting Bayelsa United.

Abia Warrior played their home 2021/2022 season of the league away from home after their stadium failed to get approval.

The stadium finally secured approval this season and against the newly promoted Restoration boys was the first home game.

Kalu Nweke put the host ahead in the 2nd minute before Bello Idowu made it 2-0 in the 65th minute.

The away side halved the scoreline in the 83rd minute before Henry Udezuka netted the 3rd goal in the 87th minute.

Abia Warrior has now secured a back-to-back win this season having won their opening game 0-2 against Rangers International in the match day one.
