Sunshine Stars of Akure have recorded first win at the ongoing NPFL LA LIGA U-15 football tournament in Ikenne Remo Ogun State.
Recall Sunshine Stars lost by 2 goals to one to Akwa united in the first outing of the tournament last week.
It seemed the Owena whales were ending towards exit as first stanza ended in stalemate.
Qudus Azeez scored a late goal to give the Owena whales a lifeline.
Sunshine Stars will face Kwara United in the last game of the preliminaries later this week.
Akwa United and Kwara United played a one-all-one draw in the other match of the group.
