Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership reached match day four with three awaty victories recorded in the titanic encounters across six centres to mark the final fixtures of year 2022 in style on Wednesday.

Title holders Bayelsa Queens returned to winning ways with a 0-2 away win over Royal Queens in Warri to bounce back from last week’s 0-0 home draw with Heartland Queens.

First half strike from Mary Aderemi and Flourish Sabastine’s second half effort handed the Prosperity Girls the second win of the season from opening three league outings.

In Uyo, FC Robo Queens finally earned its first win of the season after three disappointing games without a win.

The Lagos Landladies had to survive a seeming comeback from the visitors to secure a 2-3 win over Ibom Angels.

A brace from Folashade Ijamilusi coupled with a goal by Oladipo Shukurat gave Emmanuel Osahon side a three-goal lead.

Two goals from Adekemi Akintan and Imoh Jones made the scoreline respectable for the host at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

In Lokoja, Abia Angels denied Confluence Queens their first win of the season as they forced the Kogi ladies to a 1-1 draw at the Kogi Confluence Stadium.

Mary Opara had given Confluence Queens the lead in the 24th minute before Precious Obasi’s 45th-minute equaliser saw both sides share the spoils.Ghana’s Juanita Aguadze’s 29th-minute goal was enough to earn a 1-0 victory for Rivers Angels against Naija Ratels FC.

Delta Queens earned its third straight of the season after three league games with a 1-2 victory over Osun Babes in Osogbo.Effiom Ekpenyong and Chinaza Agoh scored for the visitors while Eberechukwu Oleka converted a goal for Osun Babes.

Edo Queens thrashed handed Adamawa Queens its first defeat of the season.

The Benin City-based side thrashed Jacob Vandi’s team 4-0 with Suliat Abideen, Emem Essien, and Glory Osaghae.
